Project Outline Bridge

Shape today’s thinking into an ordered project outline, then create it as a numbered TeX file in a ForPages folder.

Dated evidence and working files

Journal File Album

Collect images, audio, video, PDFs, TeX, notes, data, and archives. Files remain in their dated journal folders and travel with project ZIP exports.

Educator Studio

Start from a structured teaching component, review it in the source editor, then compile a student-ready PDF.

Quick start

Teaching templates

Templates move into the reviewed-snippet workspace. Nothing is added until you choose its folder and integrate it.

Recommended flow

Teach from source to PDF

  1. Create or import a structured project.
  2. Draft short numbered lesson components.
  3. Describe visuals and define notation.
  4. Compile and inspect the refreshed PDF.
  5. Export a PDF for students or a ZIP for collaborators.
LaTeX to mathematical video

MathMotion Studio

Interpret the compiled PDF's ideas, then transform them into an original visual Manim narrative.

PDF video series

Series Dock

Order the PDFs in this project folder as YouTube episodes and target one exact document for the next render.

Open a project folder to build its video series.
Document Import DockAdd one file, many files, or a complete folder tree to the active documentFiles → OCR → LaTeX snippets

PDFs and images use local OCR when needed. Text, Markdown, TeX, CSV, and DOCX files are extracted directly. Folder paths and originals are preserved, numbered snippets are written under 030_Extracted_Text, and the active main.tex is connected automatically.

No source material selected.
Open a project, then select source material.
Story ZIPTurn ordered book scans into a complete MathMotion projectPDF → OCR → LaTeX → ZIP

The original PDFs are preserved byte-for-byte. Complete page text, OCR layout coordinates, confidence records, numbered LaTeX sources, the Series Dock order, and a compiled project PDF are retained whenever LuaLaTeX is available.

No PDFs selected.
Select PDFs in episode order; you can reorder them before extraction.

Local neural narration needs no API key and runs on this computer after its first model download. OpenAI narration remains optional and sends only prepared narration lines. Rendered neural-voice videos include a small AI-generated narration disclosure.

Open a project or use the starter idea. MathMotion will report what it finds.

Generate Manim with GPT-6 Sol

Describe the mathematics, visual style and sequence you want. Generate a draft, review it, then use it in the editor and press Play.

Each generation is a paid OpenAI API request. Only your description and the optional storyboard are sent. Your key stays out of project exports. Create an API key · API billing. Local code generation and rendering remain available without a key.

Manage your saved OpenAI key in Settings.

Ready. Existing code is preserved until you choose Use draft in editor.

Play, Alt+M and Render developer code share the Voice narration, pace and narrator settings above. Timed code blocks use with self.tv_narrate("Your words"): around animations. Whole-scene voiceover starts at the beginning and holds the final frame if needed. Voice Off disables generated speech.

Rule 4 · Start a Workflow

Begin with the intent to finish strong

Classic Theory Visionary restores the familiar pre-optimization window. Guided tools remain optional and can be combined into a workflow that fits the work.

Classic Theory Visionary is the default.
Toolchain

TeX Live and compilation

Install TeX Live

Theory Visionary uses your local LuaLaTeX executable. Auto-detect searches PATH, TeX Live, and MiKTeX locations.

You may paste an executable, a containing folder, a quoted path, or a file:/// URL. Theory Visionary normalizes it before testing.

OpenAI / GPT API key

Checking saved-key availability…

Saved separately from projects, encrypted for your Windows user. Manim uses the saved key immediately when its key field is blank. Restart Theory Vision after saving or forgetting to update the regular GPT tools. This does not create an OpenAI account or enable billing. Get an OpenAI API key

GPT defaults

A saved key takes precedence over OPENAI_API_KEY. The key is excluded from project settings and exports. API usage is billed separately from a ChatGPT subscription.

CSS patches change presentation only. JSON patches change validated settings. Neither can execute code.

RESEARCH / arXiv

Follow an idea into the literature.

Search preprints, read abstracts, and keep useful papers with your project.

Search on arXiv ↗

Search by topic, author, category, or arXiv ID. No account or API key is required.

Your next useful paper starts with a question.

Choose a paper to read its complete abstract and view its PDF.

RESEARCH / DOCUMENT BUILDER

Find the paper. Keep the evidence. Write.

Search broadly, collect accessible PDFs, and build an editable cited draft.

Google results inside the app

Use a Gemini key for Google-grounded discovery. Provider usage may be billed to your Google project. Only your search queries are sent. Save the key to reuse it after restarting, encrypted for your Windows user; it stays outside projects and exports. You can also use an existing GEMINI_API_KEY environment setting.

Checking saved-key availability…

Test text generation sends a small test prompt and may use billed tokens; it does not test Google Search. Default: Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite. Google-grounded search with this model requires a paid Gemini API project. Text-only synthesis has a limited free tier. Gemini 2.5 is restricted to previous users. Google pricing ↗
